I've always wanted to create an FKT route showcasing the 1952 B-17 plane crash site in the Olympic National Forest and the Tubal Cain Mine. My buddy Marisa Robba and I came up with this fun course for an awesome FKT! We have a bunch of friends from running club that want to try it out!

Powers Peak is a 10 mile out and back route starting and ending at the Cannell Meadow trailhead in Sequoia National Forest, just outside Kernville, CA. The peak is named after the "Cowboy Historian" Bob Powers, who passed away in 2002.
