The Hood Canal Traverse begins at The Salmon Center at Lynch Cove, the channel's far southeastern tip, and continues west twenty miles along Highway 106 to Great Bend before heading north along Route 101 for forty-one miles then Highway 104 and Highway 19 to the northern terminus at Tala Point where the channel meets Puget Sound.
