Commencez et terminez le parcours à l'entrée du pont sur la rivière Noire Nord-Ouest (côté Langue-de-Chatte). À l'intersection, prenez le sentier à gauche menant au sommet du Mont Sugar Loaf. Vous grimperez sans arrêt via sentier et escaliers jusqu'au sommet. Touchez la croix des directions et admirez le panorama des Appalaches. Poursuivez par la dalle pour la descente technique. Vous trouverez des cordes dans la descente (sentier technique). Suivre le sentier du Pont Brulé et les indications pour le retour à la Langue-de-chatte. 

The Markhor-Needle Traverse is a classic loop in the Coquihalla Summit Recreation Area that links Markhor Peak and Needle Peak via an aesthetic granite ridgeline. The route begins on a steep climber’s trail through forest and slabby granite leading to the summit of Markhor. A slabby downclimb off the south aspect of Markhor marks the beginning of the traverse toward Needle Peak. Expect reasonably good rock interspersed with sections of kitty litter, a bit of bushy terrain, and healthy exposure in sections.
