Starting at marker post #63 on the east end of Crystal reservoir, head west the entire length of Canyons Trail to marker post #46. At post #46 (Granite Dam Overlook parking lot) turn around and return back down the trail to marker post #63. Thought this would make a cool route to challenge local runners as well as people passing through who stumble on this gem of a state park. There is an extensive network of trails throughout the park but this one, in particular, is my favorite due to its variety of terrain including flow and technical trail as well as awesome dam and canyon views!
