This route circles the central Chew Valley in Somerset County. Maes Knoll, one of the peaks, is an iron age hill fort dating back to 250 BC, which provides commanding views across the Chew Valley to the Mendip Hills in the south, central Bristol to the north, the outskirts of Bath and the Cotswolds to the east, and across the River Severn into Wales to the northwest. There is no defined start / finish point - anywhere along the loop is fine.
The "Big Three" Rounds are the Paddy Buckley Round (Wales), Bob Graham Round (Lake District), and Charlie Ramsay Round (Scotland). For a bit more background on the individual rounds see https://www.gofar.org.uk/uk-big-3-rounds.
