This 18.5km loop is located in Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park (Sxotsaqel in the Halkomelem language of the Indigenous, Sto:lo people) and features 1513m of elevation gain. Trail features on this route include technical single track for the entire route, except where it is instead large boulder fields that make the time often required for this route understandable. After only 3km you will run alongside the pristine turquoise Lindeman lake, a popular hikers destination, and carry onto Greendrop lake.
A recreation trail along an old railway line from Kilkivan to Kingaroy.
This is an incredible route within an hour from Bozeman, MT. Easy car shuttle, EPIC scenery, and an undulating grade of trail that is either defined or nearly a choose your own adventure. The general direction is obvious, it traverses the spine of the Gallatin Range with unbelievable views, ridge walks, and a variety of terrain. Also mountain goats. Lots of mountain goats.
This route in Glacier National Park can be done either direction but I think the views becoming increasingly more dramatic starting from the Bowman side.
