The Naa Ohn Kara Grand Tour is a route that summits every significant peak along the main spine of the mountains also known as the Gore Range. Twenty-six of the peaks on the traverse are near or above 13,000 feet of elevation. The north end of the traverse is Surprise Lake Trailhead, the south end is Buffalo Cabin Trailhead. Because of the technical crux on Peak C Prime the traverse is probably best done from North to South from Eagles Nest to Buffalo Mountain.

This route links nine trails to generate a 50-mile loop that circumnavigates downtown Austin and areas to the north. The trails range from the the paved Northern and Southern Walnut Creek trails, to the crushed stone of the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail (aka the Town Lake Trail) and the Roy Guerrero Park trails, and to the largely single-track, sometimes rocky and technical Barton Creek Greenbelt, Bull Creek, Great Hills, Yett Creek, and Copperfield trails.

On the hike along eastern Omberg, you will soon meet the Östgötaslätten. You pass, among other things, Ombergsliden's nature reserve, which houses some of Östergötland's foremost orchid marshes and Renstadfällan's flower-rich natural pastures with a view of Tåkern and the plain. The GA dumbassery (GAD) overlaps with both the GA Loop and the GA Death Loop, however, GAD is longer, steeper and covers more north GA trails in addition to some of the most fun FSR's. GAD is a loop and starts at Woody gap on the AT:

Golden Canyon has been in famed movies such as Star Wars, as such it is one of the primary tourist destinations of Death Valley National Park. (time your running efforts early in the morning or in the evening to avoid crowds (or the heat if it is near summer). This is probably the most universally recognizable running loop in Death Valley.
