Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (WY)
Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is the second most popular attraction other than the geysers of the park. A single trail runs across the north and the south side of the canyon, spawning the idea for this route.
My proposed route North to South is from Inspiration Point to Point Sublime on the other side of the canyon. Both of these lookouts are dead ends to the respective trails and thus natural bookends to the end of the run. The Yellowstone river must be crossed at the Chittenden Bridge.

Gruvdammsrundan (Sweden)
All the lakes that cross the trail were previously part of the lake system, which once gave Sala Silvergruva its driving force. Therefore, the trail has also been named Gruvdammsrundan. Along the entire trail there are information signs about the mine's water system and other interesting sights. A hike on the trail invites you to many pleasant and exciting outdoor activities. Fishing is allowed on all lakes that the trail passes (with proper fishing license). The forest provides ample opportunities for mushroom and berry picking.
