Description

The Six Dales Trail winds across the entire length of the superb Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Along its way it crosses the five watersheds that separate the six dales that give the trail its name. From Wharfedale it passes over into Washburndale, then into Nidderdale, Colsterdale, Coverdale and finally Wensleydale. Along its length is everything from steep pastures to high heather moorland, stretches alongside fast-flowing rivers to paths through 18th century parkland.

Strava is everywhere!  Quietly, not saying much, even though this company is fundamental in our recreational lives.  But what goes on behind the curtain?

Strava reminds me of Apple - the minimalist interface, the super clean look - and they don't spray, they let the products do the talking.

We're focussed on what athletes need and want.  We were able to hire the best people in San Francisco because they believed in Strava - we're mission-driven, and they got to build products for a sport they really cared about.

Pikes Peak, Mt Rosa, Almagre Mtn (CO)

Description

I wanted to create something that included the iconic Pikes Peak of Colorado. But not exclusive to just the standard routes (Barr trail) of PP. I also wanted to include, what I believe is, the most well-known peaks in Pike National forest... other than Pikes Peak. That would be Mt Rosa and Almagre Mountain. If you look at the front range from the east those are the big three that stand out next to each other. The route has water holes that mesh with the mileage.
