Schinder-Trail Grauer Kopf Extended (125k) (Germany)
The "Schinder-Trail Grauer Kopf Extended" is located in the Taunus-hills in Western-Germany. The trail connects two world heritages. The "Upper Middle Rhine Valley" and the "Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes". The trail is 125km long and has 4020 meters in altitude gain. It is one of the very rare +100Km trails with 4000Hm outside the Alps. In 2020 the trail became famous by athletic German trail runners to run for a new FKT.

Rothaarsteig Westerwald variant (Germany)
The Westerwald leads in a loop through the charming landscape of the Westerwald and offers a particularly beautiful route with wonderful wide views. It is an easy to medium tour with moderate climbs. This is a loop that uses part of the Rothaarsteig.
Both Dillenburg and the cold ponds are possible as starting points for the Westerwald variant, also other of course.
If you start in Dillenburg:
GR 96 (France)
