Start at the parking lot for Nyack Beach on the Hudson River. Head west onto Larchdale Ave following the white blazes. Climb to the summit of Hook Mountain. Follow the ridge north overlooking the Hudson River and you'll pass an old cemetary and the Knickerbocker Ice Factory. When you reach the white-blazed Treason trail, take a right and connect with the River Trail. Head south along the river back to the start.
