Ah Iceland, that magical polar island covered in glaciers, hot springs, lava fields, and…mosquitos. Christof Teuscher learned that the hard way this August when he traversed the island north to south on foot, without any aid, covering the 375-mile route in eight days, 11 hours, and four minutes.

Description

The Scenic Rim is a region just off of the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas of Australia. Being only 60kms away it is the ecotourism hotspot of southeast Queensland. The series of mountains and volcanoes create this amazing Rim or U formation that goes all the way from the Laidley area to Tamborine Mountain. It’s an iconic landmark of Queensland and also the location of 6 National Parks. 

Volcan Domuyo

Description

Domuyo is a stratovolcano from which the Cordillera del Viento is born, in the north of the Patagonian province of Neuquén, in the southwest of Argentina. With a height of 4707 m. It is the highest mountain in Patagonia.

You ascend to its summit in 2 or 3 days using the base camp and/or pirquitas camp 3800 m.

This route reaches the top of Domuyo from where the vehicles are left, no base camp.
