Description

In early 2020, when the world shut down in the face of a catastrophic pandemic, Michael Gagliardi (aka, Gagz), mapped out turn-by-turn directions for a 76-mile clockwise running route around the perimeter of Philadelphia. His goal for creating it was to provide a safe runnable route for anyone who wants to challenge themselves and experience the city in a whole new way. Gagz ran the 76-mile route on April 25, 2020 in 16:14:44 (see the 1st photo, and activity link: https://www.strava.com/activities/3353655855).

Description

The River Avon flows through the counties of Wiltshire and Hampshire. It begins as two separate bodies of water in the Vale of Pewsey. The two arms merge at Upavon, flowing southwards across Salisbury Plain through Durrington, Amesbury and Salisbury. To the south of Salisbury the river enters the Hampshire Basin, flowing along the western edge of the New Forest through Fordingbridge and Ringwood, meeting up with the River Stour at Christchurch, to flow into Christchurch Harbour.

Healy Link-Up (AK)

Description

This route connects two named trails (Bison Gulch and Mount Healy Overlook) with a scramble over the competing dual summits of Mount Healy itself. Keep to the named trails as long as they exist, and use caution as the summit area includes loose rock and substantial exposure. Pick your direction.
