Description

This well-traveled route packs a lot of punch for a short climb. Blue Hill Mountain, which local indigenous peoples (the Penobscot) refered to as Awanadjo, "Small, Misty Mountain" is a single monadnock rising directly from the ocean. The summit provides breathtaking views, particularly at sunrise as you look east across Blue Hill Bay and over Acadia National Park. This route has a little bit of everything- traversing planks, deciduous canopies and gently sloped meadows, and ultimately, technical, steep and demanding rocky and rooted terrain on the upper portion.

Malta 360

Description

This route is a lap of the island of Malta. Malta is an archipelago consisting of 3 islands. Malta is the largest island and has the shape of a fish. this route tried to hug the coast as much as possible but in some instances, it moves a bit inwards until it resumes the coast. obstacles included private land mostly. The permits 15m from foreshore but in some cases the foreshore was closed off. There are some ongoing court cases and until these are decided by the court I chose alternative, similar but public routes. In other cases, the hunters make it impossible for people to pass through.
