The idea was to combine three iconic trails into one amazing FKT route. The routes that are combined are Wapack (half of it), MidState, and North-South trail -  going from mid-NH to the RI coast. Going north would mean more elevation, and going south would be headed towards the ocean.

The Guy Fawkes River Wilderness Walk is a short but remote adventure through some pristine rivers and wilderness.

A sense of adventure and safety precautions are needed heading out into this wild country. Check river levels before you leave. Follow the GPX file.

Best attempted in winter or early spring, as summer is hot with bush fire risks. In autumn, it can be weedy in the valley with lots of farmers friends and blackberry.
