Dreiland-Wanderweg (Germany, France and Switzerland)
The “Dreiland-Wanderweg” (Three-Country Hiking Trail) is a 43.5km cross-border route that connects Germany, France and Switzerland. This stage begins and ends at the Schifflände, the oldest port facility in Basel, which is now a landing stage for excursion boats and ships. Similar to a panoramic hike, the route makes a wide arc around the city of Basel via three legend-shrouded hills - Bruderholz, Chrischona and Tüllinger Hügel. These vantage points afford impressive views of the city from constantly changing angles.
