Inspired by the Baselbieter anthem, this ultra route crosses the canton of Basel-Landschaft from Schönenbuch to Anwil. The opening line of the song «vo Schönebuech uf ammel» gives both the spirit and the direction of the run.

The course follows mostly hiking trails, combining forest paths, ridgelines and open landscapes typical of the Basel region. Runners are challenged by frequent short climbs rather than long alpine ascents, making the route rhythm-breaking and demanding.
