Roan to Rogers

Roan to Rogers is a 116+ mile route that connects the highest point in TN outside of the Smokies (Roan High Knob) and the highest point in Virginia (Mt. Rogers). This route passes through a sequence of federally protected wilderness areas, national forests, and a national recreation area, travels through 3 states (TN, NC and VA), and is almost completely connected via the Appalachian Trail. 

Sankey Canal (UK)

Description

The Sankey Canal connects St Helens with the River Mersey. It was opened in 1757, subsequently extended to Widnes, and was the first canal of the Industrial Revolution built in Great Britain. Built to carry coal from the St Helens coalfield to the River Mersey, it helped drive the rapid growth of St Helens and Widnes, attracting collieries, glassworks, and chemical industries along its banks.

Wirral Way (UK)

The Wirral Way is a path on the track of an old railway that goes from West Kirby to Hooton in mid-Wirral offering superb views over the Dee Estuary to Wales. Originally the railway formed a circuit of Wirral and this is the missing link.

O Caminho

O Caminho de Cora Coralina é uma trilha de longo curso com aproximadamente 300 quilômetros de extensão, que cruza as cidades históricas de Corumbá de Goiás, Pirenópolis, São Francisco de Goiás, Jaraguá e a Cidade de Goiás, abrangendo também os municípios de Cocalzinho de Goiás, Itaguari e Itaberaí. Idealizado em 2013, o projeto teve como propósito interligar os municípios, povoados, fazendas e atrativos, passando por antigos caminhos, numa rota turística para Caminhantes e Ciclistas.

The Route is comprised of summiting every named high point (minus 2) in the Medicine Bow mountains east of Walden, CO, from where the range first breaks tree line at the Jack Dickens trail, to where the range ends at Cameron Pass.
