El Manchón is a 3,720 meters high mountain located between the San Francisco Valley and the Yerba Loca Valley. Its summit can be accessed from both valleys. 
Its summit offers unique views of Cerro La Paloma, Altar and Plomo. 
It is a mountain with a significant positive slope that is obtained in a few kilometers, which makes it an attractive challenge for skiing and trailrunning.
