Description

This out and back route is a true mix of all that the Pacific Northwest is known for. The approximately 36 mile (~8000' vertical) day starts with 13.4 miles of pristine, gently climbing single track through old growth forest with the constant presence of the nearby river soundtrack. After reaching the Chalet at Enchanted Valley and chatting with the black bears, the East Fork Quinault River Trail begins to climb more earnestly and, depending on the time of year, offers a variety of technical challenges.
