The west ridge of Forbidden peak is one of the 50 american classics and sits in the heart of the North Cascades of Washington state. It challenges hikers and runners to gain the steep basin to reach the summit. The route starts at the boston basin trailhead at 3,223 ft and finishes at 8,783 ft returning to the car for a 8mi loop and 5,603 ft of vert packing in a solid day of mixed skills. The route starts at the Boston Basin trailhead with light running and steep trails to Boston Basin high camp at about 6,500 ft.

The Derbyshire Portway was an ancient prehestoric trackway which can be traced from the north of Derbyshire to the edge of Nottingham at Stapleford.

This route starts and ends at the Hoh River Trail sign as pictured. This is a classic Olympic National Park Route that absolutely deserves to be here. From the forest floor in the heart of the Hoh Rainforest, you will climb to the base of the tallest mountain in the Olympics. What makes this trail so great? You are surrounded by old growth trees, lush green everywhere you look, and the glacier fed Hoh river off to your right. There are streams to fill water bottles approximately every 4-5 miles.

Start at the parking lot of the Gasilachkogelbahn, from there to the Windachtal. After Fiegls Gasthaus turn right towards Brunnenkogelhaus. From the Brunnenkogelhaus along the ridge to the Rotkogel and the Wilde Rötespitze. Arrived at the Timmelsjoch back down to Zwieselstein and back to the starting point in Sölden.

It's a tour around the island of Texel in North Holland, Netherlands. The idea is to circumnavigate the island as close to the sea as possible (with the exception of the very south end). Along the east shores follow the trail and/or biking paths with view to the sea (on or along the schans/bank/rampart). On the westside it is possible to run on the beach or use the paths that go there. Be careful when passing the river outlet at De Slufter. At the south end shift to Jan Witter paadje/trail and go between the lakes.
