Die Himmelsscheibe von Nebra gilt weltweit als älteste Abbildung des Kosmos.

Classic central Texas hillcountry trail in one of its best state parks, Pedernales Falls State Park. The route is hilly and pretty exposed. Limestone and juniper trees abound. Starts low in the forest and climbs up and around Wolf Mountain with great views of the surrounding area including the Pedernales River. The trailhead is not far from the spring-fed Pedernales river, so you can reward yourself with a dip afterwards. Overall, this is a solid trail for central Texas runners that is easy to navigate. Best in cooler months or early morning.

The Beaver Valley section is one of nine sections of the 890km Bruce Trail, Canada's longest and oldest marked trail. This section is an approximately 115km section of trail starting at the end of the Blue Mountain section. More specifically, it starts just past the top of Blue Mountain Resort and ends in Blantyre. Fun fact: The start of the Beaver Valley section is the halfway point of the entire trail.
