Description

The Pacific Crest Trail's Section H runs from the Bridge of the Gods at the Oregon-Washington border to White Pass near Mt. Rainier, passing by Mt. Adams along the way and through the rugged and remote Goat Rocks Wilderness. It is reputedly one of the easier sections of trail on the PCT, although it is far from resupply points. It runs for 147.5 miles, with 28,000 feet of elevation gain in the northbound direction and 24,000' southbound, including two 3,000' climbs (northbound) and a knife edge ridge.

Description

Bigfoot Trail

Description

"The Bigfoot Trail is a long distance hiking trail through the Klamath Mountains of northwest California and, briefly, southwest Oregon. The trail begins in the Yolla Bolly-Middle Eel Wilderness and continues north. The trail ends near Redwood National and State Parks at the Pacific Ocean near Crescent City, California just south of Oregon. The establishment of this route will lead to a deeper understanding and awareness for this little known corner of California. Which should promote greater future sustainability for this botanical wonderland.
