Bridger Foothills Trail

Submitted by LoThompson on Tue, 09/23/2025 - 03:49pm
Description

Starting at the M trailhead and follow signs north for the foothills trail. After the pomp/sac col you start following signs for North Cottonwood Canyon, if you follow this you will get off trail but it goes. Instead, you can use the old trail and descend a tiny bit into Corbly canyon before going up and over into N. Cottonwood. Continue on and find the N. Cottonwood trail down to Johnson Canyon and enjoy the flow of the trail until the parking lot.

Elfin Lakes Freeway (BC, Canada)

Submitted by Riley Johnston on Tue, 09/23/2025 - 02:33pm
Description

A stunning 20km lollipop in the heart of Squamish. Starting at the yellow gate at the Elfin Lakes Trailhead, proceed up the double track to the Red Heather Hut, take the trail for hikers and runners, run out to the lakes, going left past the first lake, before turning right to the camping area. Proceed to loop around both lakes before popping back on the main trail next to a sign saying "no drones". Run back to the yellow gate.

Radomire to Mt Korab (2764m)

Submitted by exploring.mc on Tue, 09/23/2025 - 01:48pm
Description

The route begins in Radomirë, where I initially went completely off the main trail, climbing a steep, forested section to reconnect with the standard path. This area is rugged and remote, with wildlife present, including bears. Once back on track, the route continues through forested lower slopes, opening into alpine meadows. As the ascent continues, the trail becomes steeper and rockier, leading to the ridgeline and finally the summit of Mt. Korab. The descent follows the same path.

Fishermen’s Trail - Trilho dos Pescadores - Rota Vicentina (Portugal)

Submitted by Luke Bistram on Tue, 09/23/2025 - 01:14pm
Description

Fishermen’s Trail includes a total of 13 steps, a total of 226,5 km

Probably one of the best coastal trails in the world.

Always by the sea, follows the paths used by the locals to access the beaches and fishing grounds. It is a single track walkable only on foot, along the cliffs, with lots of sand and therefore more demanding from the physical point of view.

A challenge to permanent contact with the wind of the sea, the rudeness of the coastal landscape and the presence of a wild and persistent nature.
