Significance of the Peak
This peak is one of the 5 main summits of the Kaçkar range, which runs parallel to the Black Sea coast in northeastern Türkiye. It is a significant and popular destination for Turkish mountaineering. Because its technical level is relatively low and it offers an easy climb, it is often a top choice for beginners starting out in mountaineering.

The Missoula Round is a 100 mile Loop around the city of Missoula, linking up several of the most classic routes in our trail running town.

Deer leap to Clay Meadow Trailheads or the inverse. This is part of the Lake George 12ster, and is the most difficult range on the challenge. Watch out for rattlesnakes and enjoy the difficulties of the terrain. Fifth peak is on a spur trail and should not be ignored as it is a beautiful peak and part of the challenge. There is a lovely leanto that is maintained by some local legends. Enjoy the lake from above.
