Tomorrow morning I'll be attempting to chase Kimo Clark's and Kevin Garnier's unsupported FKT of 8hr 50min on the Kanaha Beach ascent. 

I’ve just seen this comment - has this ever been clarified as to whether an unsupported attempt is possible on the GNW?
