Up high and big terrain; enjoy as I hope this route inspires others! 

Please note that this route is completely coupled and dependent on weather... in other words due to the high altitude nature with lots of above-treeline exposure, thunderstorms and lightning should be taken seriously. Additionally, there is a class 3/4 scrambling, with some exposure, in the gully between James Peak and Bancroft. 

Start at the Breezwood end, at the TH (note new parking area and trail end by 2025). Run through both abandoned tunnels (you'll need a headlamp) to the parking area at the other end. Touch the jersey barrier and then turn around and come back. ~16.85mi round trip.

The Magnificent 11 is a four-part circular walk of 11 miles linking seven wonderful greenspace habitats on Glasgow's Southside, including Local Nature Reserves (LNRs) and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
