The long-distance hiking trail crosses the entire Italian western Alpine arc from the Gries Pass to Ventimiglia on the Mediterranean.

The Blue Mountains Trail is an immersive adventure through the diverse interconnected eco-regions that comprise the Greater Hells Canyon Region. The trail will take you deep into the mountains, forests, rivers, ecosystems, and communities of northeast Oregon. It shares the living history of why the Blue Mountains are ecologically unique and more parts of it deserve permanent protection.

Beautiful scenic route of Moraga/San Leandro/Oakland "backcountry".  The route mixes fire-roads, single-track and trail through EBMUD and EBRPD properties on fully public and marked trails, with sweeping views of the Bay Area. Variations on this route have existed for many years in large part due to the grand scenic tour it gives of some of the East Bay's best trails and views.

Water fountains are available at Rancho Laguna Park and in Redwood Regional at Canyon Meadow.

This is a point to point challenge in which the runner hits five Blackstairs summits, including Mt Leinster. The runner chooses their route between each summit.
