The Juliana trail is a 270 kilometer trail around the Julian Alps, the majority runs through Slovenia but also with a section in Italy. The trail leads through the valleys, passes forests, through urban areas and through wilder areas, along rivers Soča and Sava, along the edge of the Julian Alps and through  the beautiful Triglav National Park. The trail is very well marked with signs and has been  extensively described in both the New York Times and the Guardian. Der zertifizierte Wanderweg zahlt zu einer der schönsten Weinwanderwege Badens. Entlang sonnendurchfluteter Weinberge und den typischen Streuobstwiesen des Kraichgaus gelangt man zur sehenswerten Kreuzbergkapelle und dem Kreuzbergsee. Zahlreiche Weingüter am Wegesrand locken zur Einkehr.
