The Trail  "From Akamas to Dipkarpaz" crosses the island from west to east (or reverse).

Start in Akamas National Park in the baths of Aphrodite . Then the trail passes through the famous Kykkos monastery and the highest point of Cyprus - Mount Olympus , the capital  city - Nicosia , and ends at the cape Dipkarpaz .

The Circo de los Altares Traverse, also known as La Vuelta al Hielo Continental, is a famous route ending in El Chaltén, Argentina. It is a technical glacier traverse often completed as a 6-8 day expedition. 

There are 2 options:  The traditional, U-shaped expedition route is a point-to-point from the highway at the Rio Eléctrico bridge and finishing at the National Park entrance at El Chalten.  For in-a-day runs, it may be more satisfying and logical to do a complete loop, which adds ~ 13km to the total distance.

The Wilder Ranch Obstacle course is low tide dependent out and back run/scramble/swim below the cliffs that will give you an up-close appreciation of this amazing section of coastline.

This 'trail' is a 100% paved footpath with green blazes down the middle of the path.

Caution - There are many busy road crossings.

Begin at sulfur springs parking area, at the corner stop sign, by the sledding hill, begin on the trail toward Henry church rock parking area, crossing a bridge about 200yards into the trail - see photo.

Once you pass the Henry Church Rock Parking area, continue up the hill on hawthorn parkway, you will cross Arbor Lane, shortly after, the path crosses the road.
