The 3M Canyon Loop is a common and classic link up of three significant but easier technical slot canyons in the San Rafael Swell area, (however this is not a casual trail run, you should be experienced in canyon travel, have proper gear, and do adequate research ahead of time):

This is probably one of the most popular loops in the Yatsugataki mountain range. This particular loop starts a kilometer below the Minoto Bus stop, it follows the road past the bus stop and then onto a gentle gravel road for about 5 kilometers. The course follows a stream to the largest mountain hut in the range, Akadake Kosen, from here the course climbs steeply up to Iodake and the ridge line. The Southern Loop contains the 3 highest peaks in Yatsugataki (Yoko, Aka, and Amida).
