Description

Gunsight Pass is one of the most popular multi-day routes in Glacier National Park in northwest Montana. There is an extensive history of the Blackfeet Tribe living in these mountains and also home to several species of wildlife including Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goat, and Grizzly Bears. The total distance from Jackson Glacier Overlook to Lake McDonald is roughly 20 miles depending on the watch you're tracking with. It's one of the best places in the Park for wildflowers, glaciers, and big mountain views.

Description

The Formartine and Buchan Way has been justifiably designated as one of Scotland’s Great Trails. It is an impressive, safe pathway suitable for all abilities of walkers, cyclist and horse-riders.

The pathway uses the former railway line linking from Dyce, on the edge of Aberdeen in the south, to the village of Maud where it splits into two routes; eastwards to Peterhead and northwards to Fraserburgh.
