The Geraldton to Mingenew route is a 103km point-to-point route located in the Mid West region of Western Australia. It connects the coastal city of Geraldton with the inland farming town of Mingenew. The entire route sits within Southern Yamatji Country. The route begins at the HMAS Sydney II Memorial in Geraldton (-28.773152, 114.616050) and finishes at the Transwa bus stop in the main street of Mingenew (-29.189858, 115.441360). The course follows established public roads throughout, comprising a mix of sealed and gravel surfaces.

Route Overview:
This logic and aesthetic route connects the well-known mountain trailhead at Refugio La Rinconada with the iconic summit of Pico Austria. It is a continuous, pure uphill push (Single Ascent / Only Up) that serves as an excellent high-altitude challenge for trail runners, skyrunners, and mountaineers in the Cordillera Real.
