Starting in the city of La Canada on Earl Canyon Motorway you make your way up the fire road about 2 miles until it turns into a smaller trail.  That then that joins Mt. Lukens fire road, taking that to the peak at 5,075 ft (tallest mountain in LA City). Then taking Haines Canyon down to Rim of the Valley, then out to Deukmejian Wilderness Park.  Beautiful views across the city to downtown and beyond if you're lucky to have a clear day!

Descente de la Sèvre Nantaise — Mallièvre → Nantes

Cette traversée suit la Sèvre Nantaise depuis la chaussée du Moulin Neuf à Mallièvre jusqu’à son confluent avec la Loire à Nantes, près du pont de Pirmil.

Longue d’environ 142 km, la Sèvre Nantaise ne peut être suivie presque en continu à pied que sur ce tronçon, en reliant plusieurs GRP (Sentiers de Grande Randonnée de Pays) et chemins publics en bord de rivière.

The Pandurensteig is a historic long-distance route across Bavaria, following the route associated with the 18th-century Pandur troops. The route closely follows the path taken by the Pandurs during their 1742 campaign in the War of the Austrian Succession. Highlights along the way include protected nature reserves, scenic river landscapes, geological sites, and historic castles. The highest point is a bit above 900 meters.
