Description

Lake Winnebago is located in eastern Wisconsin and is the 28th largest lake in the United States. With an area of 137,700 acres (557 square kilometers) it is the largest lake entirely within the state of Wisconsin. Lake Winnebago has 88 miles of shoreline blanketed with beautiful foliage and diverse wildlife, as well as many beautiful beaches. The route encircling the lake is up to you.

 

High Peak Trail (United Kingdom)

Description

The trail starts near Cromford railway station and climbs through the stunning High Peak area of Derbyshire giving fabulous views of the area and progresses through the Peak District to Hurdlow near Buxton.

Highlights on the route include the historic Middleton Top Engine House, built in 1829 and fabulous views down to the nearby Carsington Water. Along the way there is the interesting Harborough Rocks, the Neolithic chambered tomb and two Bronze Age bowl barrows at Minninglow Hill and the fascinating Neolithic henge monument of Arbor Low. 

Trail D'Arta (Djibouti)

Description

The Trail D'Arta begins in the parking area of RN4 and descends into the dry riverbeds of the mountainous Arta region. The trail passes towering cliffs of columnar bassalt before climbing back out along the ridgeline trail.

Altai Death Trail (Russia)

Description

The route passes through the most beautiful places of the Altai Mountains. The famous Chuisky tract passes nearby. Finish in the village of Tungur, not far from the highest mountain in Siberia - Belukha.

Southern Selkirk Traverse (ID)

Description

The goal of this route is to traverse from McArthur Lake to Priest Lake across both fingers of the Selkirk Mountains using whatever trails, roads and passes necessary. One possible route is to summit White Mountain, Dodge Peak and the pass between Fault/Hunt Lake. The GPX file follows this proposed route. This route must start at McArthur Lake boat ramp and finish at East Shore Rd along Priest Lake.
