Bacon Peak is a relatively inaccessible peak on the western side of the North Cascades. This is the shortest route to the summit, bushwhacking from the SE side, starting at NFS Road 1064. The route crosses the base of electric butte, and ascends Bacon Peak via the Diobsud Creek Glacier.

Start at Glacier Gorge Parking lot Rocky Mountain National Park.  Pass Mills Lake, Black Lake and up east drainage weaving the best path the North Ridge of the Spearhead.  Climb North Ridge rated 5.6 with a few variances and the last pitch is an exposed hand/finger crack.  Work your way around summit blocks to the true summit.  Can descend either to the east or the west.  I generally descend to the west and around as it is more familiar.  

Lomond & Trossachs National Parks Munro Summits Scotland. There are 20 summits included in this route within the boundary of the national parks, all over 3000 ft.  In order to complete a Munro its summit Cairn should be reached to claim the Munro. You must do this from public roads on foot to achieve this anyway you choose to complete all 20 in the fastest time to claim the FKT.

AE:  Start from carpark and go from east to west taking in full ridge before descending down the Pap path.

Striding edge:  Start in Glenridding carpark, ascend Striding edge, summit Helvelyn and descend Swirrel Edge.

Crib Goch:  Pen-Y-Pass>up Crib Goch >Snowdon summit>Miners track.
