King Offa's Sea to Summit (United Kingdom)

Description

This route follows Offa's Dyke from the north coast of Wales to the summit of Moel Famau, and then down to the car park at Bwlch Penbarras.  Offa's Dyke  is a large linear earthwork that roughly follows the current border between England and Wales.

Patalsu Peak (India)

Start at Solang Valley (Hotel Iceland). Up via village and reach Shagadugh clearing. Meadows with beautiful Himalayan flowers. Then climb through alpine forests till you reach the ridge. Steep climb till snow patches at 3800m. After a morraine section, the peak ascent involves snow climbing till the other side of the valley is visible. Descend via same route.

 

Gower Way (United Kingdom)

Inaugurated by the Prince of Wales in 1998, the Gower Way runs 35 miles (56km) from Rhossili at the extreme south-west of the Gower Peninsula, through to Penlle’r Castell in upland Mawr (this is a cross-section of the area covered by the ancient lordship of Gower).
