Directions: This is a clockwise loop. Starting at the Redfish trail head you go to Hell Roaring lake to Imogene lake to Edith lake over Sand Mountain pass to Rendezvous lake to Edna lake to Ardeth lake through the 10 lake basin up to Hidden Lake, up over the Cramer divide to the Cramer lakes down the Redfish-Baron drainage back to the Redfish trail head.
Adjacent to (and partly overlapping with) the Sawtooth 3 Lakes Loop.
The Ox Drove is part of an old cross-country route on the Downs to the northeast of Winchester which was once a drove route for cattle.
Described as a cycle, horse-riding and walking route, it forms a figure of eight using the Ox Drove. Initially heading north and visiting Preston Down, Bradley, Upper Wield, and Old Alresford; and then west to Itchen Wood, Itchen Down and Abbotstone.
There is rolling downland, woods and farmland, with fantastic views and plenty of wildlife. The terrain is almost all off-road and undulating.
Beginning at the Mirror Lake parking, this loop takes you first a few miles of vertical gain on single track and across several boulder fields. Depending on the time of year there may be snow covering a few of these. The trail lis a little tricky to follow if you don't keep an eye out for the wooden posts marking it.
