The Brothers (WA)

Submitted by DebbFromThe80s on Sun, 05/10/2020 - 05:07am
Description

A true Olympic Peninsula classic. Starts with an easy run to Lena Lake, followed by a series of route-finding challenges through blowdowns and burn zones until the base of the Brothers. Then it's almost a straight shot of steep snow (or scree) running/slogging to the top.

This summit is "The Brothers" on a map which is the south summit on the ridge; to the north is the "North Brother".  The FKT route is to the higher south summit.
