This is the southernmost 200 miles of the Appalachian Trail, between Springer Mtn (GA) and Clingmans Dome (NC). Most of the FKTs are probably by people going for the FKT on the full AT, but we do not have all of their times. Interested parties should investigate those times on their own.

A 40 mile moderately trafficked point to point National Recreation Trail. It runs along large creek (the black creek) and it’s terrain is considered easy to moderate with a little under 2,000 feet of elevation gain.
