The Catoctin National Scenic Trail trail traverses about 25 miles mostly through the hardwood forest, profuse with mountain laurel on Catoctin Mountain and passes through Gambrills State Park, the Frederick Municipal Watershed, Cunningham Falls State Park, and Catoctin Mountain Park. 

The Tasmanian Trail is a 480 km multi-use trail (Hiking, cycling and horse riding) that extended from Devonport to Dover Tasmania, Australia. The trail consists of bitumen and dirt road as well as single track and undefined trails. There are many alternate routes for differing conditions and modes of transport.

The Lavender Federation Trail is a linear walking trail through diverse countryside traversing the eastern flanks of the Mt Lofty Ranges. It begins at Murray Bridge and traverses the Barossa, Mid North and the Clare Valley regions to Clare.
