Cerro Madsen is a mountain in Argentine Patagonia, located within the Fitz Roy range. It is a lesser-known summit within the massif and often goes unnoticed by mountaineers.
With an elevation of 1,806 meters above sea level, it has two main access routes. The most traveled route starts from the town of El Chaltén, while the other, less frequented, begins at El Pilar.
This route is part of the the ancient road 'Hærvejen'. The official hiking path offers two different ending points. The longer variant ends in the city of Hirtshals and requires people to travel westwards at the splitting point around the town of Aars.
