The route starts at Kang Yaze Basecamp, 5060 m.a.s.l., at the small "Stupa" with prayer flags in the middle of basecamp and goes up to the summit of Kang Yaze II (6250 m.a.s.l.), with half of it being glacier travel. Part of the route is off-trail, and it is up to the hiker/runner to find the best route. The first 200 m are off-trail on grass, and then a small trail leads up the hillside and later the moraine into more rocky terrain. There are at least two options for this trail for some sections, but both are equally fast, leading to the "crampon point" at around 5700 m.

Five passes in a day! Dore, Lundy, McCabe, Don't Be a Smart Pass, and North Peak.  The route may deviate due to conditions; for example, in June, Don't Be a Smart Pass will have snow. Four of the passes are off-trail and stay class 2, although there are a couple of class 2+ moves going up and down McCabe.  This route combines the best of the Hoover Wilderness and Yosemite, which you will enter at McCabe Lake. Possible side quests: bag Tioga Crest/Dore Cliffs, Sheppard's Crest, and North Peak as you go, which are all worthy summits with unique viewpoints of the 20 Lakes Basin. Have fun! 

This loop covers the iconic territory of the north shore of St Croix in the US Virgin Islands. Since it's a loop, you can start any where along it. You'll go along the north shore and past the beautiful Cane Bay. Then you'll head up "The Beast" (a famous steep road that traverses the ridge of the island) and follow a hiking trail to the highest point on the island, Mt Eagle. The climb from sea level to 1160ft at the top is tough but the views are worth it! From there, you'll descend and follow the "Mini Beast" (an alternative road to "The Beast" down and back to Cane Bay.
