The Steel Cotton Rail Trail is a station-to-station trail from from "Steel City" Sheffield to "Cottonopolis" Manchester following the Hope Valley Line. It was opened in 2025.

Streek GR Kempen is a long distance hiking route in Belgium (and a section the Netherlands). It is almost 250 km in its current form. However, it is now undergoing transformation to two hiking paths and the markings are being taken down. If you want to follow the full historic route then use the provided gpx.
