A route that connects Olla de Núria with Olla de Vallter, two well-known routes for the catalan mountain tradition of the natural park of the headwaters of the Ter and Freser that are known separately but that until now had not joined in a single route that, leaving and arriving at Vallter, draws an infinite following the high ridges between 2600 and 2900 meters. 

These trails are rather technical, in a typical Laurentian/Appalachian way; lots of ups and downs, a few solid climbs, plenty of roots, rocks, fallen trees and mud as well a small section on road.

The route starts and ends at the Montagne Verte parking lot on Chemin du Lac-Baptiste, in Labelle. 

The route begins on the north end of the wilderness range near highway 2 and the Kootenai River.  We used the Grambauer Mountain Trail.  The route ends at the southern terminus of the wilderness range at Swamp Creek Trailhead.  We did our best to follow the backbone of the range.  We dipped out of the wilderness at Devils Club TH to both pick up supplies and alleviate difficult route finding between the “pinnacle peaks” and Bald Eagle Peak.

You then get your third drink on the house.

Hartpury Parish Council’s new was opened on Sunday 5 June 2022. The 4.75-mile circular walking route extends over beautiful scenery and provides breath-taking views in all directions from a range of vantage points. They describe the walk in an anti-clockwise direction and that is the direction this was run in.
