The Havana Seawall FKT is a 8.36 mile out-and-back along the Malecón, Cuba’s iconic coastal esplanade. The course begins and ends at the official marker at the mouth of Havana Harbor in Old Havana (adjacent to Castillo de Salvador, the restored 16th century fortress) and continues west past the Centra Habana and Vedado neighborhoods, reaching the turnaround at the mouth of the Almendares River.

The Mount Beacon fire tower trail (Or Casino Trail as it is called on the official Hudson Highlands Trail Map) is a very popular and steep switch back trail that leads you to an initial overlook over the Hudson River, the city of Beacon and across the river to Newburgh and beyond. Once the first overlook is reached (The turnaround point for many), the trail continues, flat for a bit and then more uphill, to the fire tower which can be seen from the initial lookout by looking south east.

The Grande Anello dei Sibillini (GAS) is a spectacular 125k (78 miles) multiday hike around the Sibillini Range, between Marche and Umbria, central Italy. The route is a single loop, extremely logical as legit FKTs, and the elevation gain is around 5500 meters (18.000 ft).
