Bull Valley Gorge to Willis Creek is a classic Grand Staircase Escalante Loop that combines two beautiful yet very different slot canyons with a bit of a cardio workout during the few miles of deep, soft desert slogging in Sheep Creek (the connector drainage between Bull Valley and Willis).  The keen observer may discover multiple rock art panels on this route - a minimum of three, and quite possibly more.  There is another piece of much more recent and more obvious history on this loop: the historic jeep in Bull Valley Gorge from a

Description

In addition to the well-known hiking trails in the Niederelbe and Nordheide, this DAV section has been crossing the Hamburg and Niederelbe hiking trail "Wilde13" since 2013 in five stages on many forest trails in an east-west direction. These five stages can be hiked in 21-28 km sections. The infrastructure is available almost everywhere with bus, train or hotel. For your planning here is an overview of weekend
