The Green Circle is a 24-mile scenic hiking and biking trail that loops through the Stevens Point area and connects with over 45 miles of additional trails. It winds through forests and parks, over wetlands, and along rivers, recalling the days of huge pineries, pioneer settlements, and the lore of the Wisconsin and Plover Rivers.

Vättlefjäll is a nature reserve which is a popular recreation area year round. In the summer people come here to run, bike and hike, or go for a swim in any of the lakes. You can rent canoes at Vättlefjällsstugan. At winter you can go skating on the lakes if the ice is thick enough. Several hiking paths cross the area, such as Bohusleden and Pilgrimsleden.

A ~76km loop crossing the Serras da Peneda and Soajo in northern Portugal.  The usual start/finish is in the village of Soajo, but since it's a loop you may start anywhere, and run in either direction.
