Glacier Peak Reverse Lollipop (WA)

Description

This is a 105-mile, 29,000' scenic tour of the Glacier Peak Wilderness that includes a full circumnavigation and summit of Dakobed (Glacier Peak) via the Cool and Gerdine Glaciers. Dakobed and its adjacent Dakobed Range ridgeline comprise several large glaciers and are the "great parent" to the White, Sauk, and Suiattle Rivers and this tour passes a traveller through all three major drainages and their tributary streams.

This route traverses Mount Greylock on the Appalachian Trail, between Cheshire on the AT (Route 8) and the trailhead on Pattison Rd.

Guardian Peaks Trifecta (OR, WA)

Description

The Guardian Peaks consists of climbing and descending the three volcanic mountains that are visible from Portland, Oregon: Wy'east (Mt. Hood), Pahto (Mt. Adams), and Loowit (Mt. St. Helens), on foot in a single push, using a motor vehicle to drive between (or bicycle if multisport).  Clock starts upon departing the trailhead at the first peak and ends upon returning to the trailhead of the final peak.  Mountains can be climbed in any order.
