The Southern Upland Way is Britain’s first official coast to coast long distance footpath. It runs 214 miles (344 km) from Portpatrick on the south west coast of Scotland to Cockburnspath on the eastern seaboard. It offers superb and varied walking country, still undiscovered by many enthusiasts.

The direct route from Val Veny (Italy) to the summit of Mont Blanc, via the Brouillard ridge. 7km and 3,500m of vert. 6 peaks tagged, 5 of which over 4,000m of altitude: Aiguilles Rouges du Brouillard (3,368 m), Punta Baretti (4,013 m), Mont Brouillard (4,069 m), Picco Luigi Amedeo (4,460 m), Mont Blanc de Courmayeur (4,748 m) and Mont Blanc (4,810 m). Grade IV+ max, with lots of exposure and poor rock quality.
